The American version of the Scandinavian Grab a Breast day on july 31 celebrated on May 3 every year. It is unknown who started it, but it was first known in 2014.

International Masturbation Day is an annual event held to protect and celebrate the right to masturbate. The first National Masturbation Day was May 7, 1995, after sex-positive retailer Good Vibrations declared the day in honor of Surgeon General Joycelyn Elders, who was fired by President Bill Clinton in 1994 for suggesting masturbation be part of the sex education curriculum for students.

Since 2005, the first Saturday in May has been celebrated as World Naked Gardening Day.

It is The Naturist Society in America that first planted the idea of an early spring. The goal is intended to emphasize a healthy and comfortable relationship with one's naked body in a non-sexual way.


The first try started with a separate website in 2005, and since then a lush bunch has emerged that let the sun go where it rarely shines.
